As a body shell and accessory manufacturer, we are typically asked for products associated with competing a project. As common as traditional masking tape is, JConcepts has added a high-quality item available in two distinctly different widths. The narrower, 12mm x 50m length roll is great for performing detail work, slight curvature to mockup a design to the inside of a body shell of choice. The wider, 24mm x 18m roll is good for masking off larger areas or to quickly cover more space. Paired together, the different rolls are great for any hobbyist looking to perform simple paint schemes with multiple colors with crisp lines and color separation.
Like many painting products or supplies, always store in a cool, clean environment to maximize shelf life or prolong the life of adhesion properties. Heat, humidity, and external factors will always affect the quality of work and its advisable to take additional time before paint is applied. Be sure application surface is clean and free of debris and completely dry. Apply tape in desired locations with a light amount of force to the edge for best mask seal. The cleanest work will always come to those who are patient, seal into tight corners and keep overlapping areas to a minimum.
